Market Research Operations Analyst

Salary: $3,200 USD
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM CT
Location: Remote

Role Overview:

Turn vendor tables and raw research outputs into accurate, client ready PowerPoint decks, with strong Excel cleanup, tight QA, and clear takeaways the client can use.

What you will do:

- Table to deck execution: Convert vendor tables into slides, charts, and clean visuals inside the approved template.
- Excel heavy lifting weekly: Clean messy tables, build pivots, lookups, charting, basic analysis, and sanity check outputs.
- QA ownership before anything ships: Run a step by step checklist, validate filters and bases, catch anomalies, and flag anything suspicious fast.
- Synthesis, not just formatting: Pull out what matters and write tight takeaways so the deck is not a data dump.
- Manage multiple studies and shifting priorities: Handle several studies in motion, adapt when priorities change, and keep delivery clean under pressure.
- Version control and template discipline: Use naming conventions, maintain clean shared folders, and prevent deck chaos.

Must haves:

- Advanced Excel: pivots, lookups, charting, data cleaning, validating odd numbers
- PowerPoint: can produce client ready decks, not drafts
- QA mindset: systematic checks, catches errors before review
- Can synthesize: writes the takeaway, not just the chart
- Comfortable with multiple parallel requests and shifting direction

Nice to haves:

- Brand tracking, benchmarking, or audience perception work exposure
- Experience converting vendor deliverables into executive facing decks
What success looks like in week one:
To be a fit for this role, you should be able to do the following quickly and confidently:
- Clean and validate a messy vendor table in Excel, explain your checks, and spot anomalies
- Turn a vendor table into a client ready PowerPoint slide with a clear takeaway
- Describe the QA checklist you use to ensure decks are accurate before they ship
