About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting and Financial Analyst to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in QuickBooks Online, SQL, and Excel, with hands-on experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities
• Customer Communication: Respond to billing inquiries via phone and email, resolving issues professionally and promptly.
• Accounting Inbox Management: Monitor and manage the accounting email inbox, ensuring timely and accurate handling of requests.
• Financial Reporting: Generate, analyze, and interpret financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Billing & Invoicing: Create and process invoices using billing applications, QuickBooks, and SQL queries; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Accounts Receivable: Record customer payments, perform reconciliations, and manage outstanding receivables.
• Collections: Issue collection notices, follow up on overdue accounts, and work to minimize delinquencies.
• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
• Month-End Close Support: Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and other tasks related to financial close.

Qualifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English C1 (required - non-negotiable. If you don't have C1 please don't submit you application).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• 1–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (required - non-negotiable) and SQL (not required); Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, billing, and collections processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• CPA, CMA, or other accounting certifications (Is a plus).

What We Offer
• Salary: 3,500,000 – 4,000,000 COP (depending on experience).
