About the role As an Analyst Logistics Export Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of export documentation and logistics coordination, ensuring compliance with international regulations, customer requirements, and commercial terms. Your work will directly contribute to: Preventing documentation errors that could lead to delays, penalties, or financial exposure. Ensuring compliance in complex and highly regulated destination markets. Delivering complete and accurate documentation to customers and banks on time. Safeguarding UPLs operational reliability and cash flow. What you will do Pre-shipment activities Receive and register export orders in internal systems. Track orders and delivery dates in coordination with Planning, ensuring production, labeling, and packaging compliance. Download daily export sales reports and prepare proforma / pre-shipment invoices. Prepare commercial invoices based on consolidation details. Coordinate inland transportation for cargo positioning from plants. Issue shipping instructions to customs brokers and freight forwarders. Review and approve draft Bills of Lading prior to vessel departure. Follow up on final BL issuance. Coordinate sample exports and related payments. Post-shipment activities Prepare export documentation in line with sales orders, customer POs, and letters of credit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with destination-country regulations. Dispatch copies and original documents within agreed timelines. Update shipment information in SAP (documents, dates, delays, and root causes). Ensure original documents reach customers or banks at least four days prior to vessel arrival at destination. Coordinate documentation handling with banks, couriers, finance teams, and external agents. Manage up to 100 export files per month, including advance sales, open terms, letters of credit, and consignment shipments. Compliance, control, and follow-up Manage online applications for certificates of origin (PTA/FTA), REX registrations, and amendments. Prepare manual documentation when required. Coordinate document legalization with consulates and chambers of commerce. Accurately record costs, accruals, and costbenefit analyses. Correctly apply Incoterms, payment terms, LC documentation, port procedures, and country-specific regulations, with a strong focus on Africa (SGS, IDF, Form M, import licenses, among others). Manage PR, PO, and MIGO transactions in SAP for advance payments and invoicing. Prepare cash flow reports and advance payment controls. Maintain updated export tracking files, ETAs, ATAs, and OTIF metrics. Update documentation and cost databases. Participate in calls with international customers and customs brokers. Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives. What we are looking for Experience and education 5 to 8 years of experience in logistics, international trade, or supply chain within global organizations. Strong knowledge of foreign trade, export operations, and international logistics. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA higly desirable). Bachelors degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields. MBA or postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, International Operations, or International Trade (desirable). Experience in manufacturing environments (preferred). Key competencies Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail. Ability to operate in fast-paced, regulated, and global environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders. High standards of ethics, integrity, and compliance. Position details Work modality: On-site. Location: Calle 127 with Autopista Norte, Bogotá, Colombia.
