Location: Medellín, Colombia
Work model: Hybrid (2 on-site days per month at the co-working space in Milla de Oro, Poblado).
Schedule: Full-time | U.S. business hours
Compensation: $4.200.000 =Base Salary + Wellness Allowance
Consistency Bonus: 200.000 COP Awarded after demonstrating commitment and reliability during the initial 3-month period.
Plus Christmas bonus: Annual bonus granted during our end-of-year celebration as recognition of your dedication and continued contribution throughout the year.

About the Role:
We are hiring a Bilingual Legal Assistant (English/Spanish) with hands-on experience supporting U.S. Personal Injury Law Firms.
This role focuses on client intake, case opening, demand letters, insurance coordination, and medical records management.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct client intake via phone and email for personal injury cases
• Open and manage cases using Filevine and Casepeer
• Request, organize, and review medical records and billing statements
• Draft demand letters, letters of representation (LOR), and legal correspondence
• Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claims, coverage, and settlements
• Assist with UM/UIM claims and statutory follow-ups
• Manage subrogation claims and lien reductions
• Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) client communication
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with U.S. legal standards

Qualifications
• 1+ year as a Legal Assistant / Intake Specialist in a U.S. Personal Injury Law Firm
• Advanced English (B2–C1)
• Experience working directly with U.S. attorneys
• Reliable internet and laptop

Remote Policy:
- After one year of successful performance, the Legal Assistant may apply for a fully remote position.
