About the Role:
The DevOps Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing Clients servers, firewall, network, workstations, Shopify, Modern Retail, CounterPoint, Crystal Reports, and other business applications. They will streamline data pipelines, enhance system integrations, and develop automation processes to increase efficiency across eCommerce, inventory, and analytics. Working closely with IT, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, this role ensures seamless digital operations, real-time data reporting, and ongoing process improvement.

Responsibilities:
Systems & Infrastructure Support:
Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and performance of Clients servers, firewall, network, and workstations.
Implement and monitor regular updates, security patches, and system upgrades to ensure optimal stability and data protection.
Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Enforce best practices in network security and resource allocation, continuously evaluating system needs to support business growth.
Collaborate with IT and Operations to enhance Zoho One applications and reporting capabilities.
Ecommerce & Retail Systems Optimization:
Manage and optimize Shopify and Modern Retail POS, ensuring seamless data integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve sync issues between Shopify, Modern Retail, and NCR CounterPoint.
Automate inventory management workflows and improve product update efficiency.
Implement system customizations, automation, and API integrations to improve processes.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
Oversee database operations to ensure optimal performance, security, and data integrity.
Implement regular backup procedures, perform performance tuning, and manage capacity planning for growing data needs.
Troubleshoot database-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve queries and maintain smooth data flow across systems.
Develop and enforce best practices for database usage, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
Provide technical support for internal teams on system functionality and optimizations.
Automation & Process Improvement:
Identify and automate manual workflows to reduce operational inefficiencies.
Support future software implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or additional certifications inDevOps, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or networking is highly desirable.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, IT Systems.
Strong experience managing Servers, Firewall, Network, Workstations, Cloud, Shopify, Modern Retail POS, and NCR CounterPoint integrations.
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining API integrations, SQL DataBases, and Cloud Systems.
Proficiency in Shopify, Modern Retail, Power BI, and Crystal Reports.
Strong analytical skills for business intelligence and reporting.
Experience in API management, SQL, and automation workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system errors and optimize workflows.
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and system optimizations effectively.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Zoho One suite (Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Desk, etc.).
Experience with NCR CounterPoint and its integration with other systems.
Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or scripting languages for automation.
Background in eCommerce, retail, or wholesale business operations.
