Marinex Logistics SAS is a growing NVOCC and freight forwarding agent, headquartered in the United States with supporting teams in Istanbul, Turkiye, and Medellin, Colombia. We offer logistic solutions for maritime and air shipments both import and export from around the world.
We are currently looking for an Import Team Leader for our operations in United States. So, if you are a dynamic, strategic, passionate person who accepts new challenges and meets the following requirements, we invite you to apply for the selection process for the position of Import Team Leader.

Job Description

• Coordinate and supervise the daily operations of LCL, FCL and air cargo.
• Ensure compliance with delivery deadlines established with our clients.
• Manage the documentation and procedures required for the United States/ Canada import regulation, such as fill out of AMS and ISF.
• Sustain close contact with suppliers and customers to ensure effective communication.
• Solve any issues and setbacks that may arise during the cargo transportation process.
• Supervise the control of invoices from service providers.
• Lead and guide the team under your supervision.
• Provide report to general management.
• Other complementary tasks related to the position.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Technologist / Professional Degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of import in United States/ Canada
•Preferably 3 years of experience in the operations department of Freight Forwarders in the United States.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Team Leader.
• English proficiency level B2 Advanced.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Goal-oriented with self-discipline.
• Able to handle stress.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong PC operational knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Salary: Negotiable + Legal surcharge for worked Colombian holidays (Applies U.S. calendar).
Contract: Indefinite Term.
Schedule: Schedule: At the office, Weekdays from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm - during summertime from Mid-March to Earlier November, and weekdays from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm -during winter hours from Earlier November to Mid-March.

Ocean Freight Service: Marinex Logistics has competitive contract rates with major carriers, and could also work on spot rates to provide the best value for your shipments. We understand providing timely status updates is key to keeping clients & our partners/agents happy.
