IT Project Manager - waterfall

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple IT projects, primarily focused on software implementation and post-sales IT solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the Waterfall methodology, experience working with external international clients, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and deliver multiple IT projects concurrently, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives are met

Lead end-to-end project execution using the Waterfall methodology

Manage primarily software implementation projects, with additional involvement in software development and other post-sales IT initiatives

Act as the main point of contact for external international clients as well as internal stakeholders

Communicate clearly and effectively in English with clients and stakeholders from different countries and cultures

Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, ensuring alignment between business needs and project delivery

Define project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies, and ensure proper documentation

Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical, business, and external vendor teams

Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions when needed

Ensure project deliverables align with business and customer expectations

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager

Proven hands-on experience working with the Waterfall project management methodology

Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Demonstrated experience working with external international clients and global teams

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Solid understanding of software implementation projects and IT post-sales environments

Preferred Qualifications

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

Experience managing software development projects in addition to implementation projects

Experience in customer-facing IT projects within an international context
