This role sits within our Retail Energy Division, is an indefinite contract, and English fluency is required.
Provision and Peak 6 Power & Gas are our retail energy suppliers that supply electricity and natural gas to homes and small businesses in Ohio, Michigan, and California, USA, and are subsidiaries of CarbonBetter. We’re seeking a new Sales Support Associate to join us to support our sales teams.
Position Overview
Our Sales Support Associates help our sales channel managers with day-to-day tasks related to their work managing teams that support customer acquisition and retention activities. Tasks include managing communications with outside vendors, preparing and sending sales reports to vendors, managing the onboarding and offboarding of new teams and agents, scrubbing phone number lists for compliance purposes, and other clearly defined tasks for which full training will be provided.
Sales Support Associates have the opportunity to advance their careers by taking on more complex tasks over time to support our sales activities.
Responsibilities
Work closely with teammates to complete assigned sales support tasks in a timely and thorough manner, which includes:
- Managing communication with external sales vendors, preparing vendor agreements
- Using Google Workspace tools to execute simple reporting and analysis tasks
- Managing scrubbing processes for our telephonic sales channel
- Managing onboarding and offboarding of teams and agents
responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly recurring tasks
- Conduct routine sales partner audits to monitor performance and collaborate on driving improvement in performance and customer experience
- Join calibration calls with sales partners to provide feedback and opportunities to improve
- Manage sales training and process documentation for sales teams
- Escalate questions and concerns, when needed
- Engage with teammates over Slack in a timely, clear, and consistent manner
- Complete ad-hoc assigned tasks and projects, as needed
About You
- You’re a team player with prior experience working in a support role of any kind
- You're proficient in Excel and data analysis
- You communicate effectively and proactively with your team and customers
- You ask for help when you need it, and you’re adept at problem-solving
- You’re extremely patient and reliable
- You’re very comfortable learning new software and following detailed processes
- You take detailed notes regarding your work
- You’re confident using Google Workspace and Slack and can adapt to new software quickly
- You are fluent in English

Requirements
- Must have two (2) or more years of experience in a support role
- Must be able to follow specific and detailed instructions and processes
- Must be able to sit at a computer Monday through Friday for eight hours per day
- Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable learning new software, online tools, and processes
- Must be patient, empathetic, and understanding even in the most challenging circumstances
Working Hours
The working hours for this role are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CDT and are to remain in sync with the company’s Austin HQ (Central Time) throughout the year.
Working Location
Our office is located in the El Poblado area of Medellin.
