As a Service Provider Consulting Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a crucial role in supporting and delivering network solutions for telecom and internet service providers. You'll work with large-scale network infrastructures and platforms, providing expert consultation and technical leadership to our clients.

In this role you will play a key role in:

Designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale service provider network infrastructures using Cisco technologies including ASR 9000 Series, 8000 Series Routers, and IOS-XR operating system

Providing technical consultation and troubleshooting for complex networking issues in service provider environments

Developing and implementing solutions using core routing protocols such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and other service provider technologies

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive network solutions that meet client requirements

Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions to service provider challenges

Your profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or related technical field

Minimum 3 years of experience working with service provider networks and Cisco technologies

Strong knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS technologies

Experience with Cisco IOS-XR operating system and service provider platforms such as ASR 9000 and 8000 Series

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
