AI Solutions Architect

Location: Remote - Columbia (US CST)
Compensation: $5,100 USD Monthly

About the Role:

We’re looking for an AI Solutions Architect who thrives on experimentation and fast iteration. This role isn’t about polished code, it’s about building scrappy proof-of-concepts that work, testing them with the team, and moving fast. You’ll use AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, Windsurf, and Power Automate to spin up functional prototypes, evaluate different approaches, and show the business what’s possible.

If you’re a tinkerer who can connect ambiguous business goals to applied AI solutions, and you’re more excited about shipping experiments than polishing them, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do:

- Rapidly prototype AI-powered tools and workflows using AI coding assistants and orchestration frameworks(Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, Windsurf, Power Automate, LangChain, RAG, etc.).
- Translate ambiguous business objectives into testable AI prototypes that create immediate insights or efficiency gains.
- Experiment across low-code/no-code and coding approaches, whatever gets results fastest.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities, showcase prototypes, and iterate quickly.
- Evaluate AI frameworks, APIs, and agent-based tools to guide build vs. buy decisions.
- Document and share approaches so successful prototypes can be hardened by other teams later.
- Stay sharp on the future of AI + coding and bring those insights into daily experiments.

What Success Looks Like:

90 Days
- Multiple scrappy prototypes delivered, functional, even if not polished.
- Demonstrates curiosity and comfort with rapid testing and iteration.
6 Months
- Proven ability to consistently translate business needs into working AI solutions.
- A portfolio of prototypes that deliver clear business value or insight.
12 Months
- Recognized as a go-to problem solver and idea generator.
- Helped shape the roadmap for how AI coding and automation are applied across the business.

Failure in this role looks like: needing step-by-step instructions, struggling to understand objectives, or over-polishing instead of delivering quickly.

What We’re Looking For:

- A generalist technologist/tinkerer with broad exposure to tools and the curiosity to try new ones.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, Windsurf, or similar).
- Solid Python/JavaScript foundations; comfortable jumping into APIs, automation, and orchestration.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, you can explain what you’re building and why.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and focus on business outcomes over perfection.
Familiarity with LLM frameworks (LangChain, RAG, vector DBs) is a plus, but not required to start.
