LOGOS Virtual Assistants is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer to work on our behalf and be placed for full-time, long-term work with one of our tech clients in the United States.

The tech client is a top consultancy company specializing in networking, custom programming, and data analytics. They have been providing hi-tech information technology services nationwide for 33 years. Their service offering brings system analysis and design, software development, systems integration, and training to some of the most innovative organizations in the world.

The client is fully staffed with system engineers, programmers, help desk technicians, and data analysts that are prepared to cover most of their customer’s IT needs.

LOGOS Virtual Assistants is primarily looking for senior software engineers, and also welcoming mid-level engineers who have the competency and ability to work closely with a highly experienced team of technical consultants in the programming and software development space.

Skills Requirements:

1. Full Stack Java Developer:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience developing and implementing applications using technologies including:

- Java 17+
- AngularJS
- JQuery
- Bootstrap
- JavaScript
- J2EE
- ORMs
- Eclipselink
- Maven
- JAX-RS
- IOC
- DI
- Rest Web Services
- TypeScript
- HTML5

2. The software developer that is hired will engage in all aspects of the development process:

- Research and prototype complex design solutions
- Develop and implement user interfaces for modern web applications
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries
- Deliver well-tested programs that contain few significant program-level issues.
- Develop well-structured, well-documented code.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Participate in code and design reviews.

3. Requires strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with the team lead in order to quickly understand functional/non-functional business requirements and turn them into technical requirements.

4. Bilingual English/Spanish is a must. English comprehension in the technical field is a requirement. Mid-to-high B2 level English testing score is a desired, and will be tested during the interview process.

5. Must be willing to commit long-term, as the client desires to onboard a software engineer who wants to grow with the company long-term 3-5+ years. Full time commitment is requested, with no outside or additional work projects can be allowed apart from engagement in this sole project.

6. The hiring employer would be LOGOS Virtual Assistants, hiring you as a technical specialist meeting the qualifications for placement with our private U.S. client. More information about the client and work expectations can be detailed and explained throughout the interview process.

- Interested applicants should anticipate the following steps during the engagement process:

A.) 1st Interview with the CEO of LOGOS Virtual Assistants, the hiring agency.

B.) After the first interview, you will be asked to take the International Standard B2 test and we will provide user access for the test.

C.) 3-5 Finalist Candidates will be selected by LOGOS Virtual Assistants to meet with it’s client for the final stage of interviews.

D.) 2nd Interview with the Senior Software Architect of our tech client, who will conduct a thorough assessment of the candidate’s technical knowledge and capabilities, helping to confirm the candidate’s ability to meet some, or all, of the listed requirements.

E.) Possibility of a final 3rd Interview with the CEO of the tech company. However the 2nd interview with the Senior Software Architect may also include the CEO on the call, so this step is yet to be determined.

F.) The Client will inform LOGOS Virtual Assistants of their preferred candidate selection, and we will make the offer to the candidate chosen, formalize contracting, compensation, start-dates, and the onboarding process will begin as outlined.


** Salary [Paid in USD]: Compensation Range is provided, showing the minimum pay scale, with also a maximum range for those senior developers who meet all or most of the requirements and pass through the interview process and are selected:

- Monthly Base Salary: $1,875 - $3,680 USD
7.300.000 - 14.300.000 COP

- Annualized Salary: $22,500 - $44,160 USD
87.750.000 - 172.225.000 COP

** We are looking to hire someone to start work on the project within the dates of February 24th-March 15th. **
