About the Role
Were seeking a Senior Back-End Software Engineer with a strong sense of ownership, technical expertise, and leadership capability. This role requires someone who thrives in a startup environment, has experience with cutting-edge technologies, and excels in building scalable, low-latency infrastructure.

You will collaborate closely with a cofounder to shape the architecture, implement features, and optimize real-time multimedia systems. Your work will directly impact the platform's reliability, scalability, and user experience.

Key Requirements

Technical Expertise
•Python Mastery: Proven expertise in Python and frameworks like FastAPI.
Concurrency & Async Programming: Hands-on experience with designing and implementing scalable systems.
•Real-Time Media Handling: Strong understanding of real-time streaming, codecs, and audio/video edge cases.
•Scalable Infrastructure: Experience building fault-tolerant systems that handle high-traffic loads.
•Cloud & DevOps: Advanced knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog).


Startup & Leadership Experience
•Startup Mindset: Prior experience in a Series A+ startup environment, demonstrating ownership of projects and solutions.
•Leadership Skills: History of influencing or leading technical teams and driving results.
•Proactive Problem Solver: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and innovate solutions in a fast-paced environment.


Role Alignment
•Strong focus on engineering and system architecture (not product management).
•Experience in optimizing traditional infrastructure and pipelines.


Bonus Points
•Familiarity with non-relational databases and WebRTC.
•Expertise in debugging, performance tuning, and system optimization.
•Knowledge of streaming protocols and low-level networking.
