We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our end-to-end data architecture. You will be responsible for building scalable and secure pipelines that integrate structured and unstructured data across multiple internal and external sourcesfeeding critical systems like our Data Warehouse (DWH) and Customer Data Platform (CDP). Your work will directly support advanced analytics, machine learning applications, and real-time decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data from varied sources into our centralized DWH and CDP platforms.
Develop and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines using tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or DBT.
Collaborate with analytics, data science, marketing, and product teams to ensure data models support BI dashboards, personalization, and ML models.
Ensure high data quality and lineage tracking with data validation, profiling, and monitoring tools.
Integrate and normalize data from digital touchpoints (e.g., websites, apps, CRM, campaigns) into the Customer Data Platform to support segmentation and lifecycle marketing.
Lead initiatives for data governance, privacy, and compliance, including GDPR and CCPA considerations in CDP/DWH workflows.
Maintain robust data cataloging and documentation practices.
what are we looking for?
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering, big data development, or similar roles.
Expert in SQL and proficient in Python for data manipulation and orchestration.
Deep knowledge of modern data platforms, including experience with data lakes, warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and CDPs (e.g., Segment, mParticle, Tealium).
Strong hands-on experience with data orchestration frameworks (Airflow, DBT), stream processing (Kafka, Flink), and data transformation tools.
Proven track record working in cloud-based architectures (AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow, Azure Synapse, etc.).
Solid understanding of data modeling (e.g., star/snowflake schemas), data lifecycle, and performance tuning for analytics workloads.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data science, and business teams.
Fluent in English
