Marinex Logistics SAS is a growing NVOCC and freight forwarding agent, headquartered in the United States with supporting teams in Istanbul, Turkiye, and Medellin, Colombia. We offer logistic solutions for maritime and air shipments both import and export from around the world.

We are currently looking for a Accounting Assistant for our accounting department in United States. So, if you are a dynamic, strategic, passionate person who accepts new challenges and meets the following requirements, we invite you to apply for the selection process for the position of Operations Coordinator.

Job Description
• Issuing invoices to domestic and international clients and following up on outstanding payments.
• Verifying and processing payments to domestic and international vendors.
• Creating statements and sending to clients.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinating cross-border transactions in various currencies.
• Creating reports for management, including indicators like profit margins per operation and profitability by route.

Requirements
• Minimum Education: Technologist / Professional Degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting in United States
•Preferably 3 years of experience in the accounting department of Freight Forwarders in the United States.
* Must be proficient in accounting software or protocols (Example: Siigo, CW, Odoo, Magaya).
• English proficiency level B2.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Goal-oriented with self-discipline.
• Able to handle stress.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong PC operational knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office applications.


Salary: Negotiable + Legal surcharge for worked Colombian holidays (Applies U.S. calendar).
Contract: Indefinite Term.
Schedule: Schedule: At the office, Weekdays from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm - during summer time from Mid-March to Earlier November, and weekdays from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm -during winter hours from Earlier November to Mid-March.

Multimodal and International Transport: Marinex Logistics can offer to provide inland transportation (FCL, Truck load, rail etc) for international shipments that we are handling. Marinex Logistics does not focus on domestic moves.

Ocean Freight Service: Marinex Logistics has competitive contract rates with major carriers, and could also work on spot rates to provide the best value for your shipments. We understand providing timely status updates is key to keeping clients & our partners/agents happy.
