We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Customer Support Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional phone-based assistance to customers experiencing issues with their remote key devices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Hourly Rate: The equivalent of COP $20169 per hour in the applicant’s local currency
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40h
Schedule: Monday to Friday 12PM to 9PM Louisville KY Time with 1hr unpaid break 40hrs per week
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
Answer inbound phone calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Troubleshoot remote key issues by asking a series of targeted questions to identify the root cause of the problem.
Provide accurate and timely assistance to resolve customer concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate manager or team when necessary.
Document customer interactions and resolutions in our internal system.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current on product knowledge, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and continuously improve support processes.
Requirements
MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a phone-based support role.
Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Strong active listening skills and the ability to empathize with customers.
Proficient in basic computer and internet navigation skills.
Technical knowledge in general is required, particularly familiarity with computers, phones, and electronic devices.
Automotive knowledge is a bonus but not mandatory, as training on specific devices will be provided.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
